Artilux Retractable Insect Screens are the most functional in the market with the capability of spanning a width of 6 metres with a double unit and 3 metres with a single unit application.  Our retractable fly screens have become a favourite among households with bifold and French doors all around Australia.

When not in use, the fly screen rolls into a cassette that blends seamlessly with windows and/or door frames. Artilux has developed the following three cassette sizes:

• Slim Line: 36 mm cassette. Suited for windows, single doors and small openings.
• Bella Vista: 45 mm cassette. Suited for medium size openings, windows, French and bifold doors.
• Panorama: 55 mm cassette. Suited for larger bifold doors, sheltered verandas and patios.
   

Unique features of Artilux Retractable Insect Screens Soft Closing Mechanism: A standard feature in all units that reduces the speed at which the fly screen retracts when released. It avoids “slamming” into the cassette, making it child friendly and easy to operate. Patented Multi-Lock system (optional): Enables you to position the fly screen at any point along the opening Ability to screen 6 metre openings. Tracks are supplied with stiff angled weather pile helping to prevent the mesh from blowing out. Optional ramp to house the bottom track available - (wheelchair or pram friendly) Available in DIY form - ideal for renovators to retrofit.

Choice of Systems: Standard Soft Close System: With the standard system you roll out the screen when you need it, and release it when you don’t. It will gently retract into the cassette. Multi-Lock Soft Close System: A pin locking mechanism inside the handle enables the screen to be stopped along the width of the opening so it may be left partially open. It’s great when you have a wide opening and you need to go in and out regularly. Chain Glide Soft Close System: The Chain Glide system has a bottom guide of just 5 mm, creating a barrier free entry.
