How to Measure:
Please read carefully:
There are very important considerations when you decide on the DIY option. The most important is to ensure that the opening is perfectly level (a non level opening can sometimes occur as a result of structural movement). A non level opening can lead the retractable screen to not function correctly. Follow this simple step by step instructions if you want to install the retractable insect screen by yourself:
- Decide were your retractable screen is going to fit:
You can fit the screen inside or outside the frames of your doors or windows. When you fit
the screening system inside the frame it is called Reveal Fixing or Inner Sill Fixing. When
you fit the screening system outside the frame of your window or door it is called Face Fixing
or Architrave Mounted.
- Accurately measure the height of the opening at both extremes of the opening and at the
centre to ensure that the opening is perfectly square:

If the three measurements are not exactly the same, make the necessary adjustments prior to installing the unit.
- Measure the width of the opening using the same technique shown in step 2
