Will Artilux Retractable and/or Pleated screens fit on my existing doors and windows?
- Yes. Artilux retractable fly screens will fit on almost any kind of opening, including traditionally difficult to screen doors such as Bi-fold doors, sliding doors, French doors, single-hung doors, sliding-glass doors, casement windows, and sash windows
Can I rebate an Artilux screen into my timber frame or floor?
- Yes you can. You need to allow for the bottom track to be recessed. When you are rebating or recessing the unit, you must allow access to the cassette in the event of maintenance or servicing.

Can Artilux retractable fly screens be used to screen a veranda, patio or balcony?
- Yes. Artilux retractable and pleated retractable flyscreens offer a functional and stylish solution to screening sheltered enclosures. Please note, when considering screening an outdoor area, the standard application for the Artilux system is to provide reasonable insect screening for windows, doors and sheltered enclosures not exposed or prone to high winds. Artilux screens cannot provide security of objects, animals or people.
What colours are available?
- Artilux retractable fly screens come in a range of standard colours from the Dulux® and Interpon® powder coating charts. The systems are also available in clear anodise and an attractive DecoWood® grain finish
Are Artilux retractable fly screens child friendly?
- Yes. Artilux retractable screens have an inbuilt soft closing mechanism which means you never have to worry about the door or window slamming shut on your child’s fingers. The Artilux Alfresco pleated screen is a free sliding, cord tensioned system which is not spring loaded and can be operated anywhere along the handle, making it easy for little children to open and close.
Can I have someone install the fly screens for me?

Can I install an Artilux flyscreen myself?
- Yes. Artilux systems are also available in KIT Form (DIY Cut down version) or Made to Measure and are suitable for installation by builders, trade professionals and experienced renovators. DIY step by step instrucionts are available. Please contact us for more details.
Is there a warranty on Artilux retractable fly screens?

Artilux Australia Pty Ltd warrants to the original purchaser of the System that should the product or any part be proven defective in material or workmanship, from the date of purchase for a period of no more than 7 years subject to the paragraph below, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced at Artilux’s option without charge for parts or labour for such defect(s).
This warranty does not apply to the cost incurred for the removal or reinstallation, of such defective product, or to any product or part thereof, which has suffered through normal wear and tear, alteration, improper installation, physical abuse, misuse, neglect or accident.
This warranty shall only apply if the purchaser contacts the supplier to report any product defect within 7 days of receipt of goods or within 7 days of any product becoming evident to the purchaser.
To obtain repairs or replacement within the terms of this warranty, the product must be delivered with proof of purchase, to the supplier if required.
